IBEW – NECA

The Warren Electrical JATC believes that identifying and satisfying the needs of the electrical industry is critical to the future. Training is the foundation on which every craftsperson builds a career. Providing the customer with access to the best-trained workforce is the primary objective of the Warren Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. We believe providing a superior workforce will not only contribute to the economic development of the Mahoning Valley, but will build great communities to live and work in.

To this end, the Warren JATC is proud to partner with these local organizations:

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW)

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is the largest electrical union in the world. The IBEW represents workers’ rights in all areas of the electrical industry. The IBEW is truly a union of "Hearts and Minds."

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)

The National Electrical Contractors Association is the management association for electrical contractors. NECA represents thousands of employers who guarantee their installations and perform quality work on time and budget. NECA electrical contractors satisfy their customers by doing the job right the first time.

To provide the highly-skilled workforce necessary to meet customer needs and ensure job satisfaction for electrical workers, the IBEW and NECA sponsor the very best apprenticeship programs.

Electrical Training Alliance

In 1941, the IBEW and NECA jointly formed the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC). That organization is known today as the Electrical Training Alliance. With local programs across the United States and Canada, it is considered the finest electrical training program of its kind.
